Funeral Live Streaming Sussex
Funeral live streaming by MJ Films. Professional filming and streaming across East and West Sussex, including Brighton, Hove, Worthing, Chichester, Crawley, Horsham, Eastbourne and Hastings, with discreet setup, a private viewing page, recording included and four-network bonded mobile internet.
Respectful funeral live streaming across Sussex
When relatives or friends cannot attend in person, a private funeral webcast allows them to watch the service from anywhere in the world.
Funeral live streaming is available across East and West Sussex, with each service planned with the family, funeral director and venue so the setup remains calm and discreet. Coverage can be arranged for churches, chapels, crematoria, cemeteries, private venues, natural burial grounds and graveside locations throughout the county.
Only one funeral is covered per day. Invited guests receive a private viewing link, with no app or download normally required.
How the private funeral webcast works
This short example shows the viewing experience and how a professionally managed funeral stream works in practice.
We take care of the cameras, sound, internet connection, private viewing page and recording so the family does not need to manage the technology during the service.
Clear funeral streaming options
Sussex is long-distance coverage. The standard live-stream package itself starts from £499 and includes the full recording after the service, but £499 is not the total Sussex quote. Petrol/travel costs and overnight accommodation are added for Sussex bookings. The final price depends on the exact location, timings and any burial, second venue or additional coverage. The Enhanced Keepsake Recording remains an optional £100 upgrade.
Funeral service live stream
From £499 + travel costs
Discreet filming, professional sound, a private viewing page, four-network bonded mobile internet and an online recording after the service.
Service and committal
Tailored quotation
Portable equipment allows coverage to move from a church, chapel or crematorium to a burial or graveside committal where the timetable, travel, access and connection allow.
Two-camera live coverage
Tailored quotation
A second live camera can provide a closer angle on speakers or the ceremony while the main camera remains discreetly positioned at the rear. This is particularly useful for larger church services where both a wide view and closer live angle are wanted.
Reliable and simple for everyone watching
A private viewing page
Family and friends receive a straightforward link to watch on a compatible phone, tablet or computer. No social-media account, app or download is normally required.
Four-network connection resilience
Our bonded mobile system combines O2, Vodafone, EE and Three, with venue Wi-Fi used where available. This gives a Sussex broadcast several possible connection routes rather than relying on one mobile network. A full-quality local recording is made independently as backup.
Replay after the funeral
The recording remains available after the live service, which also helps relatives in other time zones or anyone unable to watch at the scheduled time.
East and West Sussex areas covered
Funeral live streaming is available across Brighton, Hove, Worthing, Chichester, Crawley, Horsham, Eastbourne, Hastings, Lewes and Haywards Heath, with surrounding towns and villages covered throughout Sussex.
We also cover Burgess Hill, Bognor Regis, Littlehampton, Shoreham-by-Sea, Newhaven, Seaford, Battle, Rye and nearby Sussex communities. Because Sussex is long-distance coverage, petrol/travel and overnight accommodation are included separately in the quote.
Churches, crematoria and Sussex venues
Coverage can be arranged at churches, chapels, crematoria, cemeteries, private venues and natural burial grounds across Sussex. The main camera is normally positioned discreetly towards the rear or side, using a long zoom lens for closer views while wireless microphones provide clear speech without placing intrusive equipment around the ceremony.
Previous Sussex coverage: a funeral stream at Stade Hall in Hastings. This is currently the furthest south-east Sussex coverage undertaken for us.
What we need from you
Send the funeral date, start time, venue and details of any burial or second location. Arrival is normally at least 90 minutes before the service so the camera, sound and internet connections can be set up and tested properly. Sussex bookings also require travel and overnight arrangements to be planned in advance, particularly for early services or locations further east.
Frequently asked questions
Who can watch the funeral stream?
Anyone given the private viewing link can watch on a compatible phone, tablet or computer. No app or download is normally needed.
Can the funeral be watched later?
Yes. The recording is available for replay after the live broadcast.
Can you cover the burial or a second venue?
Yes, where the timetable, travel, access and mobile connection allow. Send both venue details and timings so the movement between locations can be planned accurately.
Will the camera be distracting?
Filming is carried out discreetly, usually from the rear or another suitable position. A zoom lens and stand-mounted microphone allow the main camera position to remain unobtrusive.
What if the mobile signal is poor?
Our bonded system combines O2, Three, Vodafone and EE, with venue Wi-Fi added where available. This gives the broadcast several possible connection routes, but rural and coastal Sussex venues can still have limited coverage. A full-quality local recording is made independently so the complete service is preserved if the live connection is affected.
How early is access required?
Access is normally required around 90 minutes before the service. This allows enough time to set up without rushing, test the internet connection and deal with any unexpected venue or access issues. Two-camera setups particularly need the full setup time, and late access could delay the start of the live stream.
One funeral per day
Only one funeral is normally booked per day, allowing time for the longer Sussex journey, overnight travel arrangements, access, setup, connection testing and movement between venues without another booking competing for attention. Funeral live streaming by MJ Films
